Zig Zag 2

This is it folks! Kooky cartoonist J Chris Campbell fills it to the brim in this jumbo-sized issue of Zig Zag. It’s a barmy brew of businessmen, clerks, clowns, robots and especially bugs. Things have spiraled out of control for hapless friends, the Attic Bugs. Follow these lovable scamps as they get lost in the woods, battle monsters and find a new friend.

FCBD Superior Showcase

Hopefully you’ve all got your hands on the 2006 Free Comic Book Day offering of The Preposterous Adventures of IronHide Tom. It totally rocks and has a one page Attic Bugs Story in the back! If not, how about a look at the Apple Dumpler Story I did for the 2005 FCBD AdHouse Books – Superior Showcase. Featureing the Apple Dumpler and his chum Strudel. Enjoy.

A horse of course

I send out robots via e-mail. Drawn on the computer, with a mouse and sent almost everyday. Sometimes when I’m drawing it doesn’t want to be a robot. Thus was the case for Maurice the Horse and Gill his Enchanted Horseshoe.

IronHide Tom

Mr. Priddy wanted to see some other people’s take on IronHide Tom from his Free Comic Book Day story. So I did this up for him. It’s Ironhide Tom and the Creepy Cavern Critters.

Strudel doodle doo!

And here he is. The Sensational Strudel! But I can’t take credit for his opening words. I was having trouble figuring out something funny for Strudel to say in this panel. So I sent it to my friend Chris Harber and he knew exactly what he should say. Pg 1 Pg 2 Pg 3 Pg 4 Pg 5

Instabot Control

Rick over at www.paperian.com read how much I wanted my own very own Instabot control to call robots to my aid. He decided to do a little paper model project for me. Thanks Rick! Click the button to get you one!

When I wrote this story I made sure there was a little something left for those who hadn’t read Project:Superior yet. Thus in panel 3, Apple Dumpler gets yanked before you find out what his other power is.Pg 1 Pg 2 Pg 3 Pg 4

Attic Bugs T-shirt

My good buddy Darryl Debruhl of D-Zign & M-Printz in Greenville SC (864-268-7007) is printing up these fine Attic Bugs T-shirts. Hopefully I’ll have a few available at some shows this year. If I do a second run I’ll pre-sell them on the website. I can’t wait to get my mits on them!

I think all my bad guys from now on will have some sort of device they can push to summon robots. It’s because I wish I had one. Where’s my robot summoning button thingy!! Pg 1  Pg 2  Pg 3
