Nostalgic Sesame Street DVD set

Internet surfing is bad. I was just looking for info about the Kermit Swamp Years movie and stumble upon this. Classic Sesame

A dvd set full of old skits with some of the characters and cast that aren’t used today. Finally my son will know who that funny little man is in his Sesame Street Playset. Oh and Roosevelt T Franklin also.

Fingers crossed it’ll have some Sam The Robot on it. I still haven’t gotten the The Best of The Electric Company Box Set and yet to locate the Kermit movie. I’ll just have to Amazon it.

Sam The Robot

www.muppetcentral.com is loaded with information.

Brisco County Jr

Dude, I was walking past the DVD section in Target (looking for Kermit Swamp Years) happened to glance down and just about had a heart attack.

Brisco County Jr

There it was! The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. – The Complete Series on DVD. Never in my life did I think they’d put this out. My heart attack happened when I glanced at the price! Yikes.

I was just looking for information about this last year. I found nothing except that www.briscocountyjr.com was available. But like an idiot I didn’t buy it. Stupid me.

“What the heck is ABC jr?” Why only the greatest Science Fiction western since The Wild Wild West tv series. Way before Firefly and it stared Bruce Campbell! So if you buy it and send it to me I’ll draw you a pretty picture. Please? I’m broke and I need something to watch while I make with the drawings. No? Well at least paypal me the money. Aw shucks.

Schylling toy update

Sergio Peruyera over at Schylling Toys gave me the scoop on those “Marvel Fighters”.

Marvel Fighters

“Here is what those Marvel Fighters are. They are made of tin and the handle of them fits in your palm. When you squeeze it, the figures move from left to right…like they are fighting. It’s Battles and Team-ups so, there are 3 ‘vs’ fighters, 2 ‘team-up’ fighters and 1 ‘big villian/little heroes’ fighter. I’ve attached a picture of what one actually looks like.”

He informed me the images I posted are prototypes, that’s what I get for swiping and not taking my own pics. I’ll say this, Schylling has some killer package design!

Also here are some pics of the Marvel Jack in The Boxes in their final forms. Thanks Sergio!

Spiderman Tin Car

So I’m at our local Maste General Store with my dad checking out the tin toys and egle eyed dad spots this. Spidey Car

It’s an ultra cool tin friction Spiderman car with old school illustrations. Even has bullet holes in the roof where the crooks have taking a couple of shots at our friendly neighborhood Spidey. I wanted it but I thought it would be expensive. My dad said it would be 10 bucks and I bet it would be more. So we bet each other and the loser had to buy it. Yes I lost and yes it was only 10 smak-a-ronnies. The box is cool also, but I’ll let you enjoy that part.

So after enjoying it and all the neat detailing I decided to blog about it and went to swipe a picture from the Schylling website. Well that’s when I saw these fellas. Check out the backs of the lids! Yes Foster will so be having an Old School Spiderman Jack In The box.

Captain America

Captain America Jack In The Box

No it doesn’t stop there. They’ve got a few more Marvel items. Including whatever the heck these finger fighters are. “The battles between good and evil continue with these Classic Marvel characters • Squeeze the handle and the heroes battle it out with their nemesis’” Captain America and Iron Man nemesis, maybe someone was reading “Civil War” when they put these together. But Thing and Hulk nemesis? OK I guess if you count the time when Wolvie carved up Things face and he wore that bucket on his head for a year. Stick to the tin toy business Schylling.
