Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull

Posted by J Chris in 01-Illustration

I whipped out my Indy today. Yes, I’m really looking forward to the movie on Thursday! I skipped a Sci-Fi show about the real crystal skulls in fear of seeing stuff from the movie. I vaguely remember watching an episode of “In Search of” with my dad about the crystal skulls but I can’t find it now. Man that show creeped me out so good.

Iron Man

Posted by J Chris in 01-Illustration, Comics

Iron Man is soaring into theaters today!

Iron Man Movie

4 out of 5 on my scale of Awesomeness!

Definitely catch it at the theater to experience the killer flight sequences, explosions and sound effects. If you just have to watch from the safety of your home, you agoraphobite, it will hold up well on DVD. If you do wait, then prepare to have all the secrets ruined by your friends and family, because everyone will be seeing this movie at the theater. Except maybe children under 5 who might have trouble waiting to see Iron Man in action.

The PG13 rating is there probably for the violence(no worse than Transformers) and the short sex scene at the beginning that is mild compared to current soap opera standards (just cover your young one’s eyes when Tony Stark says “I’d like to show you how I get ready for bed” to a blonde interviewer).

Comic book fans will not be disappointed. Keep an eye out for all the sequel story subplots and sit through the credits for a major, killer piece of Iron Man lowdown. Bring a buddy you can slug in the sholder when something awesome happens!
