The next time you’re banging your head against the wall trying to force out an advertising concept, why not stop by The Ad Generator website? Just sit back and watch as it creates one of a kind advertising where “Words and semantic structures from real corporate slogans are remixed and randomized to generate invented slogans.” The slogans are then matched with photos from Flickr resulting in some pretty nice ads. I created these by watching the generator so behold the power of experience. Of course I like the more humorous ones.

Snowflake Christmas Ornament

Here’s a special little something for all you Christmas people out there. Last year I built a robot ornament for the guys on my robot mailing list. It was a huge hit, so this time it’s a snowflake filled with robots. Just download the pdf below and follow the directions. Duct Tape Billfold

Every Thanksgiving Day after all the eating is over, my mom has a little project for us to do. We’ve made miniature snow globes, altered journals and snowmen out of light bulbs.

This year we made Duct Tape Billfolds! Real, functioning billfolds with pockets for your credit cards and money. Some even had clear plastic for your photo idea. We even had several snazzy colors to choose from. It was pretty fun even if we are a couple of years behind the times.

I tricked mine out with a little pin striping of white and blue duct tape.
