I don’t know why they have a 3 hour preview night. Other than it allowed everyone there to walk around and complain that they don’t know why there is a 3 hour preview night.
I was able to grab the exclusive JLU 3 pack for my buddy Rob Ullman. I kind of wanted one for me, but then I decided against it. But I will be keeping the poster with all the current figures listed on it. It’s easier to store.
I’ve put together a new “Fat Pack” that you can put on your bookshelf. 12 comics, a button and a brand new “It’s the Attic Bugs” sticker all in a nice little plastic pack.
So we’re here in Chicago in the very nice Hyatt. They’ve done a lot of revamping of the hotel and apparently they removed the crazy wires hanging from the ceiling in between the walkways inside the Hyatt.

Thanks to the great folks over at Top Shelf Productions I will be attending Wizard World Chicago. So if you’re looking for me during the 9th-12th I’ll be at booth 542. I plan on having a special little thing to add to the new and improved Fat Pack. But that’s about it on the new front.
San Diego Comic-Con is here and I could have gone. My friends at Comics Wanted had an opening in their room but I chickened out. AdHouse Books had a full slate of artists going and I probably couldn’t have gotten a table for myself. When I’m ready, I’ll charter a plane just to bring all the cool stuff back east. Have you seen all the killer things that will be there? No? Well my friend I’ll just make you a little list of 10 things to buy at Comic-Con with total disregard for money and space.

At this year’s Heroes Convention Dustin Harbin moderated a panel on mini-comics with Andy Runton, Jim Mahfood, Rob Ullman, myself and Ben Towle and the super cool guys at The Dollar Bin recorded it. So go give it a listen. It was a pretty good discussion with some funny stuff going on and some good info.

Chris Campbell, Jim Mahfood, Ben Towle, and Rob Ullman–and almost certainly some surprise guests–for a discussion of how cool these little art objects are, and how you can make your own!
