One week to go!

One week to go!

Well there is only one week left in August. If you’ve been following along you may have noticed I’ve updated everyday! If you haven’t been following along then I’d like to let you know that I’ve been updating my blog everyday this month.
It’s been a neat process. You find yourself thinking all day on what you should blog about. Trying to find that one cool thing. I’m not really that good at it so I’ll probably switch back to once a week next month and start drawing robots more often.
Don’t cry, are you sad to hear that? Well if I get just 10 replies in my comment for this post I will continue once a day next month. I’ll give you guys till the end of the month to decide. Is that better?

Now I’m morally conflicted. You dangled a challenge and I feel obligated to throw down for it. However, I think the sheer sense of design in your work is excellent and I would hate to take time away from your robots. Hmmm… how about a robot drawing for every day next month? (evil cackles of laughter)

  2. What if I post another eight times…would that be fair?

Hmmm, this is to get lurkers like me to reveal ourselves isn’t it?
As long as there’s regular lovely artwork I’ll be happy.

That’s not a bad idea. But I’d have to figure something out for the weekend.

I guess posting eight times would count. Does this post count? I really should have defined the challange more. You guys are tricky.

Totally, now you’re officially no longer a lurker. Don’t you feel better. Everyone this is Paul and he used to be a lurker. Say hi Paul.

I like blog posts! But I also like robots. I guess you could post a blog every day, and some of those could be robots? Man, this is making my head hurt!

  6. Hey Chris, I read this up everyday. The work is kickin. Your posts are funny. Plus I’m an old friend of Duane’s (and a G-ville defector) so I like hearing what’s up with you wappies. Keep up the posts!

Perhaps robots all week and then something else on the weekend.

Cool! Aren’t you friends with Taylor and Andrew? You should have come by the comic book show when I was in Chicago!

  8. Right, that’s the one! Saw you were in Chi and I definitely should’ve hit wizardworld, but the wifey and I had just done comic-con and we just couldn’t handle another con. Please say hi to those guys for me and keep up the great work! Hey, that’s 8 posts, right?

For my part, there’s no way I’m going to be able to scrape up enough stuff to continue a post a day in Sept. Every three days, maybe? Twice a week and once on the weekend?

I’m jazzed that you kept it going all month, though! Nice job!

    #10 right?!?!?

I’ve been meaning to mention this since the Dragon Con post so I’ll tack it here. Unless you have some financial/personal obligation to stay solely at the con you should try to sneak away to the Decatur book festival and set up shop there on one day. Staros is supposed to be there repping Top Shelf so there may be room for you to squeeze in there as well. It’s entirely possible that you may find a whole other crowd willing to invest in quality minis in addition to Dragon Con slew.

I’d like to go to the Book Festival sometime maybe next year.
